These days the only type of guitar I actively play are Ibanez. I was recommended them many years ago now by a mate at school who obviously knew what he was talking about. Still, it took me about another 10 odd years to get an Ibanez guitar but now I'm hooked. I regularly use Jem guitars as my weapon of choice as the feel and song are just what I'm looking for. I used to use Xiphos guitars as my weapon of choice but with the balance issues and fairly cheap build quality/hardware I moved back over to the Jems. Recently I traded in one of my extra Xiphos guitars that I dont use anymore for an RG 1570 Prestige. Whilst it doesnt hold a candle to the Jems I have it is stlil a very nice guitar with good build quality and a decent tremolo.
